Le Bistrot

Having spent 15 years as a chef at the Guide Michelin 2 star Albert 1er restaurant, Mickey Bourdillat ventured out on his own 2 years and opened the Bistrot restaurant in association with the Morgane hotel. In a short space of time his talents have justly rewarded by fact that the same veritable guide has now awarded the Bistrot its’ own star. His food is simple and yet inventive. The ingredients, the mix of flavours and ultimately the taste of his cuisine constitute Mickey’s sole passion. The Bistrot serves local produce, which Mickey painstakingly travels to find and chose, from the Chamonix valley, as well as its neighbouring counterparts in the Valais Swiss and the Aoste valley.

The Clubhouse

From the team behind Milk & Honey in London and New York, The Clubhouse has developed into one of the town’s hottest venues. The menu of modern European classics changes throughout the week: on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday you can chose from some of the finest gourmet cuisine in Chamonix. On Wednesdays, it’s the €18 Big Bowl menu - three courses from a changing range of classics from Thai Green Curry to Shepherd’s Pie; Thursday it’s the hugely popular Snow BBQ – serving the finest burgers, steaks and fish. On Sunday, the breakfast Club is open from 8am until 1pm, followed by a fantastic Sunday roast from 4-9pm. The cosy dining room shares space with the superb lounge bar serving some of the best cocktails and the finest selection of whisky you’ll find in the Alps. If you’re not a member, you can usually get in for a ‘one-off’ visit to decide whether you’d like to join, it’s best to call ahead but sometimes it’s fine just to drop in.
