Housed in the former Chamonix-Palace, the Musée Alpin retraces
the development of Chamonix from the first tourists who came to
admire the Glaciers to the golden age of winter sports. A collection
of prints illustrate the considerable changes to the valley between
the 18th and 20th centuries, and you can also admire photographs,
relief maps, rock crystals, ancient objects, costumes and all that
constitutes the memory of the valley. Entry costs 5€ but is
free for kids under 18.
The Bowling Alley
The Bowling Pub is open every day and on bad weather days, it is
open in the afternoon. 8 lanes, automatic score screens, fluorescent
animation and Bumper system for children. Bar and snacks available
at all time. Billiard room with 17 tables (8 Pool, American pool,
pyramid and French billiards) and games arcade. Reservation for
