the Derby des Posettes
This race by teams of two skiers over the age of 16, leaves
from the Aiguillette des Posettes (Balme ski domain) and arrives
in the heart of the hamlet of Vallorcine. Around 120 teams will
take part. |

ski resorts, including Chamonix which is a new addition to the

Championships
The competition will be over seven days and include a downhill,
slalom, giant slalom and Super G event for both men and women.
More than 350 participants are expected, representing almost

Up The Verte Race
– Les Houches
Starting at 7pm, the hike up this famous ski run is a nocturnal
event on skis. As the name suggests, some 200 participants make
their way up the 834 meters of the Verte….for some in
as little as 35 minutes! |

The Kids contest is a sporting and educational rendezvous for
7-14 year olds. It regroups the three disciplines of Big Air,
Boarder Cross (ski or snow) and Freeride. |
